The components and overall architecture were conceived with industrial-grade ruggedness to meet the needs of commercial, industrial and institutional building owners and managers. With Exeo PROCEDO, it is equally easy to conceive a system for use in a single building as one for deployment on a campus comprising several buildings which may or may not be located close together.
The System is designed as a hybrid IP and serial communication architecture of distributed controllers communicating on a peer-to-peer basis. There is no master controller, and all services are executed locally for maximum speed and reliability. The power supply is also distributed, one for every few controllers, and tightly monitored by a special type of controller. Those controllers then provide power to all peripherals and accessories, without the need for additional power supplies.
